Is there such a thing astoo manyupdates?Dead Cellshas grown and changed so much since its Early Access launch in 2017, but I’ve seen players express a desire to “lock in” a certain version they know and love. It’s happening: with today’sLegacy update, you’re able to play theDead Cellsyou want to play.
“So, now you’re able to load up every major iteration of the game from the first build of Early Access right up to present, and we will of course ensure that we stock all of our future major updates in there too,” theDead Cellsdevelopers said. “This way, the nostalgic, the ragers and the ‘it was better before’ crowd will always have the option of playing the version of the game that they loved.”

The Legacy update is live on PC, and you can access old versions ofDead Cellsby right-clicking on the game in your Steam library, choosing “Properties,” and then “Betas.” You’ll find a drop-down list.
If you’re fine living in the present, you’ve got new content and improvements to check out too.

I have no real desire to revisit the older versions, but this is a big deal to a subset of the community.
