2013 has been an amazing year for gaming. Hell,we’ve reviewed more 9.5s and 10sin the past three months alone than I think I’ve ever seen in all my time here. And it’s not because we’re getting soft in our old age; rather, this year’s games have just beenthat good.
I already shared my favorite gaming memory of the year inour PS3 farewell post, but it’s worth repeating. The game wasThe Last of Us, and the moment was when Joel and Ellie[SPOILERS]first make it to the university and a tower of giraffes pass by them. Joel, Ellie and I stood and watched those giraffes lumber their way out of view for what seemed like an eternity, and it was such a beautiful moment in such a bleak game that I will never forget it.[/SPOILERS]
