Vyse isValorant‘s newest Agent to join the roster, and she will arrive withEpisode 9 Act 2. She has a unique ability to disable enemies’ primary weapons for a brief period, which can do some serious damage.
Vyse is a Sentinel, the sixth one in the game after Cypher, Sage, Killjoy, Chamber, and Deadlock. Her Agent description says: “Metallic mastermind Vyse unleashes liquid metal to isolate, trap, and disarm her enemies.”

Vyse’s release date in Valorant
Vyse will arrive inValoranton August 03, 2025. She is also known as Agent 26 and her abilities are sure to shake the meta or create a new one. Episode 9 Act 1’sNight Marketalso ends on the same day.

Here’s a rundown of all four of Vyse’s abilities:
Steel Garden requireseight Ult Pointsto activate. If an opponent falls in its radius, metallic vines will wrap their primary weapons, preventing them from being fired for a short period. You can, however, switch to your pistol during that time.
Vyse also becomes the first-ever Sentinel that can flash enemies, thanks to her Arc Rose ability. It can blind all players, so teammates need to be aware of that.
How to unlock Vyse in Valorant
When Episode 9 Act 2 starts, Vyse’s Agent Contract will be available for 28 days. Activate it, play matches to collect XP, and you may unlock the sixth Sentinel right after.
If you can’t collect enough XP within this time period, you can alwaysunlockher later using 1,000 VP or 8,000 Kingdom Credits.
