What is Universal Piece
Universal Piece is essentiallyBlox Fruitswith higher numbers, prettier graphics, and a bunch of QoL improvements. If you’ve ever playedBlox Fruits, you’ll pretty much know exactly what you need to do. If you haven’t,Universal Pieceis essentially a grindy MMORPG of theOne Pieceseries. You get to play as a pirate, but instead of going on adventures, you’llgo from one island to the next, beating opponents and leveling up.You do this by accepting quests, finishing those quests, and then redoing them again until you are leveled up enough to go to the next island, where the cycle repeats.
Just likeBlox Fruits,Universal Pieceis incredibly grindy. If you don’t enjoy fighting the same enemies over and over again, you probably won’t have a good time. If you don’t mind the grind, then you’ll fit right in (we like the grind, btw). For some reason, you’ll gain a lot of levels. They go up to 10,000, but you usually get over 100 for most things you do in the game. When a new update arrives, the devs usually just raise the level cap, add a few fruits, and maybe add another island or two.

Now, even though you’ll be fighting the same enemies over and over again, that doesn’t mean that you have to fight them in the same way.Just like inOne Piece, there are (Devil) Fruits that give you superpowers, such as elemental damage, the ability to summon things, and even some really weird and powerful ones.Unlike in One Piece, you actually get to switch Fruits, which is one of the main draws ofUniversal Piece. Of course, you can also just completely forget about superpowers, and focus on a good old-fashioned weapon, but that’s the less popular choice. For the most part, you are as powerful as the Fruit you have.
How to Get Fruits in Universal Piece
As soon as you start the game, you’ll get your very first fruit from the Daily Login reward. This will likely be a weaker fruit, but you may as well use it anyway. Simply select a fruit from your hotbar, use it, and then pick the option to eat it. Once you do, you’ll gain that fruit’s power.
If you want a different fruit, and you probably do, you have several ways to get them, and we’ll tell you all of them here:

If you are wondering which Fruits are the best, we made theUltimateUniversal PieceFruit and Power Tier List.
you’re able to only have one Fruit equipped at a time.If you eat a new fruit, your old fruit power will disappear, and you’ll need to find and eat the old fruit again if you want that power back, so you need to be 100% sure before you switch to a new fruit. You can make this a bit easier by keeping a copy of each fruit in your inventory. When you select a Fruit, store it, and it will be in your inventory if you ever want to use it.

If you want to keep a fruit permanently, you may buy it for Robux.Unfortunately, this can get really expensive, especially for the higher-rarity fruits.
How to Level up in Universal Piece
InUniversal Piece, you get the majority of your leveling up by finishing quests, not by beating up enemies. If you are killing enemies and don’t have a quest, you’re likely doing something wrong.
Almost every island in Universal Piece has aQuest NPC who will have several “Kill 10 X” quests for you. For example, on Novice Island, there is a BanditQuest NPC, who will have you kill bandits. If you aren’t sure how long you need to play each quest, or where to go next,Universal Piecehas a veryhandy GuideTracker, which tells you where you need to go, what NPCs you can find, what they do, and can even give you a tracker for them.

When you finish a quest, you’ll likely gain more than a hundred levels, but don’t let that scare you. Each level gives you Stats Points. Levels themselves don’t mean anything unless you spend these points. Open your Stats Screen (the circular icon under the cogwheel), and invest points into your stats. You can invest them into the following:
It may seem like you’re supposed to invest wisely into each of these, but in reality, you’re supposed to dump most of your points into either Power(if you are a Fruit user)or Weapons(if you prefer to use a Weapon). The rest you should put into Melee and Defense.

As you’re leveling up, it’a a good idea to have about80% of your Points into either Power or Weapons, and the other20% distributed between Melee and Defense. Of course, you don’t have to follow this rule, but it’s how many players like to progress. When you reach the maximum level, you should have maxed out three of the four stats.
Universal Piece Combat Tips
Universal Piece, just like the game it’s based on, has avery simple fighting style. Essentially, enemies will just mindlessly charge at you, and you’re just supposed to hit them first. That’s it. Simply attack the enemies first, preferably using your Fruit powers, and move away when they are about to hit you. The same goes for bosses, who have more powerful attacks and more health, but follow the same logic. if you may, attempt to fight bosses with other players.
While you may’t parry or dodge attacks, you do have avery handy dash and double jump. You can actually double jump up to 10 times and dash as much as you want. Universal Piece gives you quite a bit of freedom when it comes to traversal.

There is also PvP in the game, and that’s where things get a lot more interesting. Most of the time the person with the better fruit wins, but if you are skilled, you may even overcome someone with a better fruit. If you kill someone in PvP, you immediately collect their bounty. The more players or enemies you’ve killed, the higher your bounty will be.
InUniversal Piece, you have several forms of currency.
How to Get Weapons in Universal Piece
Getting weapons is a little different than getting Fruits. First, you need to find the rightWeapon Vendor. You can use the GuideTracker to find all Weapon NPCs, and it even shows you what weapon they sell. When you talk to a Weapon NPC, they will tell you whatmaterials they need to craft a weapon. Normally, it’s the items that you can find on the same island as the Vendors. Unlike Fruits, you don’t lose your Weapons if you switch them for a better one. Collecting weapons, even if you don’t really need them, is a lot of fun.
That’s all there is to it. Have fun playingUniversal Piece. If you haven’t already, check out ourUniversal Piececodesfor some free in-game items.
