Throne and Libertyis yet another RPG where you will have to transfer a character to another server if you are not on the same one as the people you may want to play with. It’s also not a straightforward process either, so here’s what you need to know.

How to transfer a character to another server inThrone and Liberty

To transfer a character to another server inThrone and Liberty, press your main menu button or key and go to the Shop. At the top right of the screen, you can see the Change Server option.

However, you will need to buy an item called aSever Transfer Ticket. That’s right; you must pay to switch servers for whatever reason.

Whether you started solo and friends joined in another server by mistake, or if you want to be in the same server as a big streamer, this will be your way to do that. Right now with the game’s launch, the Server Transfer Ticket is free for a limited time.

you’re able to buy two at most per character at a time. This is to prevent farming the item which will obviously go back to being full price later down the line.

When the Tickets do go back to full price, you will have to pay 750 Lucent. This is around 15 USD, so choose your servers wisely and commit to them. Otherwise, you will be looking at quite a bit of a steep fee just to play your character elsewhere.

Before switching servers, you will need to complete all eligibility requirements to do so. If you do not meet all the requirements to transfer servers, your options will be severely limited.

Lastly, when you buy a Server Transfer ticket, it only lasts for 24 hours. While it’s free, it’s fine to just have it linger in your inventory. Once you do buy it, make the switch before you lose out on that purchase.

Can I switch to crossplay servers?

Luckily, if you are playingThrone and Libertyon consoles and chose a console-only server, you can still switch. That way, you can match with players who are on other platforms, including PC.

It will most likely be better in the long run to opt for crossplay servers anyway. The player base will be significantly larger there compared to platform-specific ones.
