In today’s universe-imploding news, TT Games is working on a newLEGOtitle based on the upcomingThe LEGO Moviewhich, if you haven’tseen the trailer, essentially looks like a big-screen adaptation of thestudio’s games.The LEGO Movie Videogameis set for next year on current- and next-gen platforms: Wii U, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, 3DS, and PS Vita.
Similar to the film, the game’s story will revolve around an average minifig named Emmet who has to save the world despite the fact that LEGO Batman is, like,right there, guys! Details are basically non-existent at this point, but TT Games says there will be 90 characters inspired by the movie, which hopefully means this will play like an absurd mash-up of LEGO characters based on popular culture. As far as adaptations go, there’s reason to think this might turn out okay. I hope it does!
