Earlier today, the officialFortniteaccount on Twitter/Xconfirmed that the three previously revealed skins based on Pixar’s hit superhero animated film, The Incredibles, are going to be added to the in-game store tonight: Mr. Incredible (Bob Parr), Elastigirl (Helen Parr) and Frozone (Lucius Best). Mr Incredible’s vehicle, The Incredible, will also be available to purchase in the store.

TheFortniteaccount even posted the trailer with the line “Where are those super suits?”, in reference to one of the film’s most hilarious scenes. Epic Games did not reveal the specific time in which it will add the new skins, butFortnite’sItem Shop refreshes daily at around 00:00 UTC / 5:00 PM PT / 8:00pm ET. So you’re able to probably expect them to appear in the next few hours.

Naturally, Fortnite fans received this surprise announcement with a lot of excitement, and theyespecially praised these skinsfor looking so good and remaining faithful to the art style ofThe Incredibles. However, many other players were not happy with this sudden addition to the Item Shop, and complained thatthey didn’t have the opportunity to collect enough V-Bucksto acquire them later today.

Fortnite will have other Disney animated icons, not just The Incredibles

Disney has been collaborating with Epic Games onFortnite: Battle Royalefor many years, but both companies have mostly focused on action franchises likeStar Wars, theMarvel Cinematic Universe, and more. Only recently, during Disney’s D23 2024 exposition, the company confirmed that it will add skins based on some of its most iconic animated films, andThe Incredibleswill not be the only ones.

Disney announced that Epic Games will add a pack of Disney Villains toFortniteChapter 5 Season 4, which will include Maleficent, Captain Hook, and Cruella de Vil. In the reveal trailer, all three of them have slick new designs that make them look more intimidating and help them better fit the atmosphere of the game. There still isn’t a specific release date for this pack but, considering how Epic Games dropped theIncrediblesskins out of nowhere, the same thing could happen with the Disney Villains.
