Developer Xaviant has announcedBattle Royale-esqueTheCulling, a new game wherein 16 players battle to the death in aHunger Games-like island arena.
Just likeHunger Games, you must scavenge for weapons, food, and resources, and “build traps that will enable you to slay your fellow contestants and emerge victorious before the end of the round.”

“I asked a small, talented team to come up with their dream game and gave them the autonomy to build it,” Xaviant founder Michael McMain said. “The Cullingis the result of that effort. It has been the highlight of my career!”
The Cullingis expected to release on PC (albeit in Steam Early Access) on June 04, 2025.
