Stardew Valley1.6 primarily focuses on changes throughout both the early and end-game, including new festivals, late-game content that covers all skill areas, and various dialogue additions. It’ll also include new items, crafting recipes, villager winter outfits, and a new starting farm type, among other improvements to expand on the game’s pre-existing features.

Stardew Valley’slast major content update, the 1.5 update, launched over four years agoin 2020and featured new additions such as Ginger Island, the Beach Farm layout, and remixed Community Center bundles to add variety to your playthrough. Update 1.6 is seemingly similar in size and complexity, potentially adding more than the previous update.
While ConcernedApe’s latest post reveals that PC players will receive this update in three weeks on March 19, there’s currently no word on when console and mobile players will unlock it. If it follows the same timeline as previous updates, console players will likely receive it shortly after those on PC, with it arriving on mobile sometime after.
