PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members get some more games

Sony is adding more games to itsGame Catalog lineupfor PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members in October. Higher-tier PS Plus users can pick up a whole lot ofAssassin’s Creed,Dragon Quest, and more this month. all arriving on October 18.

As a refresher, Extra and Premium are the higher tiers of PlayStation Plus that offer additional games, including classic entries. Games in the Extra tier are downloadable for play. Classic titles are downloadable too, aside from PS3 games which use cloud streaming.

Dragon Quest XI

One of the headliners for this month isGrand Theft Auto: Vice City – The Definitive Edition. It’s from thenewer remastersof the PlayStation 2GTAtrilogy.

But if you’d rather go on a quest this October, there is a whole lot ofDragon Questavailable for just that.Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive age – Definitive Editionarrives for PlayStation 4, for some classic JRPG goodness. If musou is more your style, there’s the twoDragon Quest Heroesgames.

Or if you’d rather build, you can check out eitherDragon Quest Buildersentry, all of which are coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium’s Game Catalog. (PlayDragon Quest Builders 2, it’sreally, really good.)

A host ofAssassin’s CreedandHohokumrounds out those offerings. As for the Classics, it’s theYakuzaseries taking up a few spots with the PS4 remasters.LimboandUltra Street Fighter IVare also part of the PlayStation Plus Premium Classics offering.
