Leading up to this summer’sSonic Mania Plus, Sega and writer/director Tyson Hesse have launched a free web-based animated series calledSonic Mania Adventures. The first of five planned episodesmade a good impression, utilizing expressive animations and classic game sound effects to deliverLooney Tunes-style hijinks. Part two went up today. As before, I’m really fond of the dialogue-less approach.
The second episode is a bit more straightforward, with Sonic, Tails, and Eggman getting into a tussle that plays out pretty much like you’d expect. Still, it’s cute and well-made. I dig these.
