Classic arcade hits coming May 3
Alisting on the Microsoft storehas revealed that SNK 40th Anniversary Collectionis set to launch on Xbox One next week. Already available on PS4 and Nintendo Switch, the retro compendium features a glut of the early games that made SNK a name in the golden age of the arcade.
Included in the collection are a glut of shooters, includingIkari Warriors, Beast Busters, andPrehistoric Isle 1930. Cutesy platformers likeAthena– and its sequelPsycho Soldier– sit alongside terrible fighterStreet Smartand 1981 hot-air balloon adventureFantasy. The package features 24 games in all and, for some titles, includes both the arcade and home editions.
SNK 40th Anniversary Collectionwill be made available to download on Xbox One May 3. It is available now on PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
