We’re just a few days away from EA Play Live 2021 and, presumably, the reveal of that not-so-secretiveDead Spacereboot from EA Motive. Exciting as that is, it hasn’t officially been confirmed just yet. What has been confirmed, however, are some of the titles that won’t be appearing at the show. A newStar Warsgame is out of the question,Mass EffectandDragon Agewill be no-shows,and today, the team behind the upcomingSkatesequel confirmed it also won’t be at EA Play Live 2021.

what have we been up to? well we formed a studio back in January, got a bunch of super talented people to join the family, and we’ve been working hard on the new game. now, we know many of you were hoping to see more from us this week but we’re not ready for prime time just et, and won’t be part of the EA Play Live show on Thursday. it’s still early and we are committed to doing this thing right which means it’s gonna take some time.
our number one goal is to not blow it, for you, for us…for skate. HOWEVER, we are stoked to share a little something with you all tomorrow.”

So that’s four franchises down, but there is still so much more we can expect to see. BeyondDead Space, I’m very interested in getting another look atBattlefield 2042andLost in Random. Plus, with the receptionKnockout Cityhas received, I wouldn’t put it past EA to include a look at some upcoming content for that as well.
EA Play Live 2021 will take place on July 22 with a pre-show starting a 10:00 am.
