Finally, a justification for all that plastic
Today, Nintendo finally unveiled some more details forthe upcoming September 1-4 “Nintendo Live” expo in Seattle, Washington: and there’s a crazy curio buried in that memo. While the customary competitive events forSmash, Mario Kart 8,andSplatoon 3will commence as normal, anamiibo tournamentis also happening.

Note the curious addition of “Super Smash Bros. Ultimateamiibo+me Exhibition 2023″ According to the brief description of the event, attendees “10-16 years of age” will train figures to fight in CPU matches. It’s a fascinating feature that should have been pushed a bit more at launch, especially sinceevery single Smashline amiiboworks with it.
