I’ll say one thing for theRisenseries — it’s not afraid of a little color. Thepirate-themed sequelmight be violent and gritty, but at least its violent grittiness will get a tan, thanks to the bright sun and tropical colors.
These new screens show off just how bright and cheerful the game will look in spite of its serious subject matter. It’s a contrast I quite like. You don’t have enough games that cater to adults without looking all grey and dreary.
Hopefully the game is actually good, to boot. I liked what the first game was going for, but couldn’t stick with it for long. I shall remain hopeful for this one.
