With a ‘cross play surprise’
Riptide GP: Renegadewas released last year on PC, and gained a surprising amount of traction. Folks are hungry for arcade racing it seems after many storied franchises likeRushandCruis’nare now closed for business, and you’ll be able to enjoyRiptideon a Nintendo platform very soon.
Developer Vector Unit has noted that it’s coming to Nintendo Switch and is currently ‘working its way through the pipes,” and will come with a “cross-play surprise” when it does. Given that Nintendo is open to cross-play with everyone (Sony is the only holdout), that’s pretty great news.
I’d love to see a future of gaming where everyone can play together regardless of platform, if something is non-exclusive of course.
