RPGs sure have changed since the days of battery-equipped NES cartridges. But at the same time, they haven’t changed a bit, have they? Tonight, we take a look back at the evolution (or lack thereof) of this genre over the past three decades; specifically, where we’ve all ended up and how the RPGs of the PSX/N64 era got us there.
