Capcom has announced a demo for their highly-anticipated remake of one of the finest games of all time,Resident Evil 2. The demo, which will be made available on January 11 for PS4, Xbox One and PC, comes with a caveat, however.
Upon activation, players get 30 minutes to get pretty-boy copper Leon Kennedy out of the Raccoon City Police Department. If you die, you can continue, but once those 30 minutes are up, you’re done. The demo cannot be restarted or replayed. So I’d hit the toiletbeforeyou hit start if I were you.
Capcom assures players that the democanbe completed in the allotted time limit, but it will require efficient use of weapons, items and movement if the young R.P.D. officer is to escape his new workplace, now freshly populated with legions of the undead. Do you have what it takes to complete the demo in a single sitting? I’m a coward, so I know I won’t… creeping along the corridors at a snail’s pace, waiting for some jump-scare to ruin my day.
TheResident Evil 2 1-Shot Demogoes live on all platforms January 11. The full game launches on PS4, Xbox One and PC on January 25.
