Like, this is a huge puzzle-to-gameplay quotient here! No worries though, we have the solution to the Chapter 5 collection room lock puzzle so you may be on your way and keep kicking ass.
Follow the footsteps from the entrance carefully
The solution to the puzzle is on the ground. No really! When Ada triggers herdetective visioniris view, she’ll be able to see footsteps on the ground. Go back to the entrance of the room and look at the ground carefully.
Notice how the person in question goes to one exhibit first, then another exhibit, then a third? That’s the exact order of the lock you’ll need to open to get the Blue Butterfly item. you’re able to follow those footsteps yourself to discern the symbol order. Note the symbols must be selected from left to right: in other words, the first exhibit is on the left, the second exhibit is in the middle, and the third exhibit is the symbol on the right side of the lock.
