That’s a lotta cheaters
According to statistics revealed by developer Bluehole and the Korean PUBG Cafe board, Battle Royale instigatorPlayerUnknown’s Battlegroundshas banned a whopping 13 million users since June 2017.
The majority of booted players were kicked for the use of cheat tools, a common problem among many online competitive PC titles. The numbers are dropping, however, andPUBG’smost recent patch set live new in-game tools designed to pick out the sneaks using Aimbots and other such hacks to gain an advantage over the rest of the island vying for that important sole survivor spot.

The banned player stats have been tabulated into a graph by redditorsjk045, and shows the crazy spike that took place around week 42, where over a million accounts were wiped out in the blink of an eye.A million.PUBGcontinues to fight the good fight in the face of other battle royale titles such as Epic Games’Fortniteand Activision’s upcomingBlack Ops IIII.
