‘It will be worth the wait’

Although Platinum Games’ new trailer forBayonetta 2doesn’t show any gameplay, instead focusing on some enemy designs, concept art, and Bayonetta’s legs, it’s worth watching for fans of the original. Throughout the video, various quotes about what to expect from the Wii U-exclusive sequel are displayed.

Two of them in particular jumped out at me, the first being: “We really established whatBayonettais all about in the first game. Now we are thinking about interesting new ideas to expand upon the essence ofBayonetta.” And better yet: “The scale of the game is completely different this time, so it feels like you are fighting the last boss from the very beginning.”
