Best graphic settings for Stalker 2 to prevent stutters and FPS-drops

Stalker 2might be an excellent release if you consider the story and gameplay, but there are certain performance issues, to say the least. The situation may have improved a bit, but I have experienced plenty of stutters and random frame drops. If the internet is to be believed, I am not the only one. Thankfully, there are a few tweaks you can make to the graphical side of things to smoothen the overall experience....

BioShock Ultimate Rapture Edition outed by BBFC

As spotted by Eurogamer, anow-removed listingby the British Board of Film Classification has seemingly outedBioShock Ultimate Rapture Edition. That’s quite the name, but what’s included? BothBioShockgames and downloadable content, it seems. Nothing has been announced by 2K Games yet, though this certainly seems like a plausible bundle. Everyone told me to play the “Minerva’s Den” DLC forBioShock 2, but I never did because I’m a bad person. Perhaps this is just the reminder I need to get that add-on out of my backlog....

BritToid Episode 19: Keep Calm and Say Hi To Becca!

Hello and good day Lords and Ladies, I am pleased to announce the latest episode of BritToid! We have said our goodbyes to Miss Hollie Bennett and I have now been welcomed into the world of crazy. This episode begins with a quick round up of what we’ve been playing, along with a few questions for me on important topics such as zombie apocalypse items and videogame guilty pleasures. As always, the conversation does tend to go off into strange unknown places, but we do aim to talk about the recent trend in videogame music concerts, the GMAs, and the BAFTA kid’s choice award amongst other ramblings....

Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons is coming to Switch with a co-op mode (which kind of defeats the purpose)

May 28, $15 Switch is about to get one of the finest indie hits from the last generation of consoles. Josef Fares’ video game debutBrothers – A Tale of Two Sonsis bringing its familial bonding to Switch on May 28 for $15. The most unexpected addition to the Switch version is maybe also the most obvious.Brothers – A Tale of Two Sonsis getting two-player cooperative play. It’s a double-edged sword. There’s a thematic harmony about it in that it’s now possible to navigate through this sorrowful story with someone who’s close to you — maybe a partner, a friend, a parent, or, yes, even a brother....

Captain Obvious: Capcom considering another Wii port

It’s been a rather boring news day, all things told, which is why we haveno intentionof making things interesting. Instead, enjoya rather obvious piece of news: Capcom is considering porting more software to the Wii. Thisstunningrevelation came from a whiny Wii owner who accused Capcom of constantly giving Nintendo fans the shaft. Quite an amusing claim, in my opinion, given the fact that Capcom is perhaps the only third party to treat the Wii even halfway decently....

D3 announces Cradle of Rome for Nintendo DS

One of the things aboutPuzzle Questthat always amazed me was that D3 managed to take gameplay that the average gamer would deem “casual” while turning up his nose, give it a twist, and suddenly make it somehow totally cool to play (and tell your friends how addicted you were). I don’t know how they did it, but it was remarkable. Cradle of Romeis the latest title from D3 (adapted from the PC original), and it appears to also employ a sort of twist: you play the match three game in order to collect resources and build an empire consisting of over twenty historical monuments....

Dead Static Drive looks cool as hell

Every time I run intoDead Static Drive–a self-described “Grand Theft Cthulhu”–I can’t help but crack a smile. This latest gameplay trailer calls to mindTremors, so you know Team Fanclub is onto something. The 2020 PC and Xbox One title is a cosmic horror survival adventure, meaning you can “sneak, scavenge, fight, befriend, barricade, and bunker-in or steal a car and drive off into the sunset.” The key to a good survival experience is giving players lots of viable options and making sure there’s fun to be had in failure....

Games find a way DespiteDeathgroundvery clearly trading inJurassic Parkvibes, this dinosaur death romp might have more in common withAlien: Isolationthan anything else. Hold onto your butts. Just watch that reveal trailer. Look at how the raptors stalk the humans just like the Xenomorph cleverly pursues Amanda Ripley to all corners of the Sevastopol. The Starlight House bundle inDisney Dreamlight Valleycomes with a lot of items. Don’t expect another Battlefield for ‘a couple of years’

DICE will have its hands full with Star Wars Battlefront Battlefield 1is here to stay for a while, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. It hasgreat bones! And, in time, they should grow stronger. I’m loving the WWI setting, far more than I thought I would going in, and that has resulted in a bunch of also-good, also-newly-bought multiplayer shooters staring at me from the shelf. I swear I’ll come back to you,Titanfall 2....
