Xbox players will be able to try the Destiny beta in July

‘Late July 2014’ The PS4 alpha kicked off recently for PlayStation 4 owners, and Xbox players were basically left in the wind. Now, based on a trailer on the Xbox One dashboard, we know that the Xbox beta will hit the platform in July. Both the 360 and Xbox One platforms were specified in the announcement. On the PS4 side, you’ll see the beta on July 17th — so it stands to reason that “late July” for Xbox owners might be the second wave of the beta, after the PS4 has had a week or so under its belt....

Another fair comparison: 1001 Spikes is better than Game of Thrones

Ukampa > Westeros Believe it or not, there once was a time when many, many people thought thatCall of Duty: Advanced Warfarewas better thanAdvance Wars. Thankfully, those days are over now. According to my numbers, 89.6% of those who once suffered from the false belief that Kevin Spacey’s upcoming AAA blockbuster competitive murder-spree is better than Nintendo’s classic cartoon general simulator have been successfully converted to the truth. Though it’s hard to be sure just how responsible I am for this turn of events, it’s fair to guess that I’m largely responsible, because why not?...

Astro Gaming’s A03 earbuds are designed with handheld and mobile in mind

Drown out the sound around you Back when I used to ride the train to work every day, having a good set of small headphones could make or break my commute. They were the difference between enjoying my ride or having to listen to whatever music the dance tropes would blast between Embarcadero and West Oakland. Unfortunately, most of the earbuds I owned didn’t have enough bass to let me fully enjoy the full depth of the sound from my Switch or mobile phone....
