Covering the revealed series thus far, when the game launches this fall, it will come with 94 different characters to select from. That must be hell for balancing, but it certainly means you’ll never run out of interesting match ups. Marvel Rivals’Summer Special event is bringing the heat with some hot outfits for several heroes to celebrate the comic company’s first swimsuit special in a few decades. Mega64 will be premiering two brand new episodes from Volume 3 duringSan Diego Comic Con weekend. The screening will include the much talked about musical episode and it will take place at La Jolla Village Theater. Yeah, this looks pretty great I’m really starting to come around toDestiny. While this is more or less the walkthrough we saw back at E3, seeing it in HD as opposed to on a live stream while mentally and physically exhausted has done wonders for my anticipation of the game. That opening shot in particular is just spectacular. For me, the big draw beyond the obvious Bungie-made first-person-shooter gameplay will be the distinct worlds ofDestiny....

Bomb Monkey, Renegade Kid’s follow-up to the stellarMutant Mudds, has been shrouded in secrecy since its original announcement. So shrouded, in fact, that Jonathan Holmes was forced on pain of DEATH to not film any gameplay during hishands-on time at PAX East. Kidding, but not really. Behold, the first look at the game in action! This may be one of the first, if notthefirst, 3DS game to be played book style....

The term is even used in the patch notes Dauntless, one of the few current games that allows full cross-play between PC, PS4, and Xbox One players (and one of the few things that lets me wear sci-fi robot gauntlets, a ninja mask, and a poncho), has been chugging along. We know thatDestiny’s House of Wolves, the second expansion for the game,is dropping on May 19. Now we have a bit more information, like the fact that there will be no raid at launch, and the Trials of Osiris will show up at some point. Instead of a raid (which will arrive “later this year”), you’ll get the Prison of Elders, a “brand new three-player cooperative multiplayer arena.” Sounds an awful lot likeMad Moxxi’s Underdome Riotto me....

Xbox hasreleased details for this weekend’s Free Play Days event, andDiablo 4is one of the titles. From October 19 until October 22, all Xbox members, even those without Game Pass, have access to a 10-hour gameplay trial. This makesDiablo 4the first Timed Trial game that is part of Free Play Days, but honestly, it comes at a great time. Season 2 ofDiablo 4is a lot of fun and is a great opportunity for prospective players to have a fun Action RPG experience over the weekend....
