Sony and Guerilla have released the first trailer forKillzone 3, and it’s suitably violent, as one might expect. While the trailer doesn’t appear to be in-game, it does focus on one of the title’s new gameplay mechanics, “Brutal Melee.” We see a soldier boot a Helghast in the face, smash the butt of his gun into the grill of another, and take yet another down from behind. One even gets a knife the chest, but he’s the lucky one — the trailer closes with a Helghast getting decapitated, its head thrown into a pile of disembodied noggins....

‘Seeing sounds’ Rez Infiniteis on the way (just a few more weeks until the PlayStation VR launches), and it’s looking great so far. That’s partially due to the wizardry of Tetsuya Mizuguchi, the genius responsible for multiple franchises, includingLumines. Normally these type of “behind the scenes” videos are just chest-puffing, but this one is actually pretty sincere, walking us through how Mizuguchi came up with the concept in 2001, and what led toRez Infinitethis year....
