‘One-person co-op’ Alasdair told us abouthis time withLA Copslate last year, detailing his failures as an American law enforcement official. For those averse to Early Access, it will be available to play in just ten days. The “one-person co-op” strategy shooter is set to release on PC and Xbox One on March 13, and to commemorate the occasion, publisher Team17 released the trailer above. It was a little difficult to get a feel for how the game plays with just Ali D’s description, but it also seems like the video alone leaves out some key details....

After teasing us for the last several days, Valve has revealed the latest addition toTeam Fortress 2, a co-operative game calledMann vs. Machine. Scheduled to go live this Wednesday, August 15, the new mode will pit six players against hordes of robots on new maps, earning ability upgrades and loot as the Red and Blue Mann employees fight for their survival. Valve has promised that more information on the mode will be forthcoming in daily updates to theTF2website....

In a recent investors conference call, Take-Two CFO Lainie Goldstein crushed hearts with a desire for speed by revealing that the release Rockstar’sMidnight Club: Los Angeleshas been pushed back. The game will not hit PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and the PlayStation Portable (asMidnight Club: LA Remix) on October 21. The delay is due to wanting to release the game in “a more favorable market window.” Translation: they can make more money if they release it closer to the holiday....

Timed exclusives up the ol’ wazoo Nintendo is making up for lost time with all of the work they’ve been doing to woo indie developers on their platform. While the Wii U was a decent step up from the pitiful WiiWare platform, they really didn’t come around to the idea of aggressively competing with other platforms until halfway into its life cycle — by then, it was too late. But in this past week, they’ve basically turned the notion around that they aren’t trying....

It really works! We were one of the very few that got hands-on time with Nvidia’s Project Shield gaming systemat CES earlier this year, but now they have the portable device on full display here at PAX East for attendees and press to try out. If you haven’t heard of it yet, Project Shield makes PC gaming portable. GeForce 600-series cards can stream PC games directly to the handheld device, where they’ll show up on the sharp 720p touchscreen....

I pledge allegiance to the United Saints of America I was a little worried aboutSaints Row IVwhen itwas revealed at PAX East. My main concern being how much fun would it really be revisiting Steelport even with superpowers and such. After some hands-on time though, I really can’t wait to dive into the stupid world ofSaints Rowall over again. Yeah the environment is largely the same, but personally that’s something I’m okay with as that’s given Volition the chance to focus way more on upping the gameplay, adding a ton more mini-games, and creating a story as absurd and funny as you fighting off an alien invasion as the President of the United States....

ID@Xbox developer list tops 200 now Right around when the Xbox One was announced, a newindependent developer publishing program was announced. Called Independent Developers @ Xbox , or ID@Xbox, this program lets accepted game developers publish their own games on Xbox One. Microsoft announcedthat this program is now fully underway, with the first of the games already in the certification process. A new round of developers have been added to the roster today, including The Behemoth, Playdead, Robomodo, Vector Unit, and ZoëMode....

I uh, might watch it? Today, Activision reminded us that the TV showSkylanders Academyexists, and that it will premiere this Fall on Netflix. Along with a lot of bombastic language about how successful the series is despite the Toys to Life market issues going on right now, they noted that they’ve already locked up a two-season deal, so get ready for two more years ofSkylanders, at least! Truthfully though, the talent involved has me curious....

‘Samus can crawl’ Project Mis one of the most impressive mods I’ve ever seen and this trailer for the upcoming 3.0 release on June 28, 2025 serves as a terrific introduction. The talent and dedication of these people — my goodness! It’s simply remarkable. While the PMBR hasn’t come out with the full list of additions, expect new characters like Mewtwo and Samus, the crazy-sounding Turbo mode, alternate costumes including Dr....
