Destiny looks so goddamn gorgeous

Love the seamless matchmaking too I still have a hard time believingDestinyis actually possible given the scope of the entire project. You’re going to have multiple worlds to explore, so many guns to play with, tons of enemies to kill, and it all looks gorgeous in action. I’m loving the way they’re doing multiplayer too. I typically like to be a loner in games like this, but I’m looking forward to the multiplayer here thanks to how seamlessly others can join in....

Dragon Training codes (June 2025)

Updated: June 10, 2025 We added new codes! So, apparently, dragons get faster if they just hover over treadmills. WithDragon Trainingcodes, you can give your dragons even more boosts than they already have! These codes will grant you Spins, Potions, and Wins....

gamescom: This Star Trek trailer reintroduces the Gorn

While it had beenpreviously announcedthat the Gorn would be what Spock and Kirk get to shoot at in Digital Extremes’Star Trek, this isn’t what I was expecting. Can you blame me? This game, due out early next year, picks up where J.J. Abram’s 2009 reboot left off. Although that notion had me somewhat worried initially, I’m really liking what’s been shown so far. In addition to the trailer, there’s a bunch of new screenshots in the gallery below, and even some concept art....

Gato Roboto is the mini-Mewtroid of my dreams

Black, white and cute all over I’ve been writing for Destructoid for about ten years now, and in all that time, two things haven’t changed. The first is, I still know thatMewtroidis the bestWarioWaremicro-game ever. The second is, I still think thatfans of 2D Metroid games are more passionateabout the series than its publisher. I recently finishedMetroid: Samus Returnsafter first booting it up years ago, and while I liked much of the combat and puzzle-solving, so many of the things that defined the best in side-scrolling series felt either greatly diminished or gone entirely....

Gears of War: Judgment features two different campaigns

Making a real push for story and gameplay refinement I loveGears of War. Like many earlier adopters of the Xbox 360 (I have and love a PS3 too so don’t hate),Gears of Warwas that first big game that made me very comfortable with my system choice. With roughly a year and half separatingGears of War: JudgmentandGears of War 3though, I’ll admit that I was firmly in that camp ofGearsfans who really didn’t seeJudgmentas necessary, and my hands onwith the free for all modeat the last PAX Prime certainly wasn’t winning me over....
