While Sony put out a lot of PS Vita trailers today, it had nothing to say aboutSumioni, a scrolling action game with graphics inspired by ink drawings. Fortunately, a video still crept onto the Internet today, so check it out! It’s a little slow paced, but one would assume that it’s an early stage and that things could get more hectic later on. Either way, it’s a promising little title that will likely look gorgeous on that 5-inch screen, so it’s worth keeping in mind....

The PlayStation Vita trailerfest continues withLittle Deviants, a game that apparently wants to do everything in the world. From ball-roll puzzling to shooting, parachuting and whack-a-mole, this game is all over the place. I have to commend Sony on getting such a unique launch library together. It really does look like the Vita will have something for everyone right out of the gate, and that’s pretty admirable. Hopefully the games themselves are cool too, and don’t just rely on gimmickry to avoid the responsibility of quality....

It was weird for numerous reasons: you pay for the pass only to get locked out, and players who couldn’t play every single day lost out on a ton of XP. You know the one! Metamorphosisis a strange but intriguing first-person adventure game about a man, Gregor, who has suddenly become a bug – a small, sticky-limbed, oh-so-squishable bug. It’s not exactly an ideal fate. Making matters worse, Gregor’s friend was arrested “for reasons unknown,” and he’ll have to “journey through surrealist landscapes towards The Tower.” I don’t know what’s lurking inside The Tower, but whenever there’s a mysterious capital-T tower in a video game, nothing good can come from it....
