Hell froze over 3 times tonight It’s already been a heck of a night for games that we never thought we’d see happen —The Last Guardian,aFinal Fantasy 7remake, and nowShenmue 3on Kickstarter. Yu Suzuki, creator ofShenmue, Outrun, and many others is back, and all he’s looking for is a cool $2 million to produce a newShenmue. That’s a far cry from the $70 million budget the Dreamcast original. Planned consoles for now include PS4 and PC, but it looks like the campaign is nearly at $1 million mark already, so don’t be surprised if we end up getting stretch goals for other systems....

Someone put the new Doom inside the old Doom

This was a good idea Doom (4) for Doomis a mod that brings the weaponry (and ensuing upgrades), playable demons, and glory kills of id Software’s2016Doominto the 1993 original’s shell. The results are fabulous. The mod saw an initial release earlier this year, but its creators have since been preparing version 2.0 for an entirely fitting July 08, 2025 release. Yeah, so this is a trailer showing off the ridiculous visuals Crytek’s conjuring for all you graphics whores out there. While I’m always agameplay-over-visuals guy, I do have to say … it is impressive stuff.
