Hell froze over 3 times tonight It’s already been a heck of a night for games that we never thought we’d see happen —The Last Guardian,aFinal Fantasy 7remake, and nowShenmue 3on Kickstarter. Yu Suzuki, creator ofShenmue, Outrun, and many others is back, and all he’s looking for is a cool $2 million to produce a newShenmue. That’s a far cry from the $70 million budget the Dreamcast original. Planned consoles for now include PS4 and PC, but it looks like the campaign is nearly at $1 million mark already, so don’t be surprised if we end up getting stretch goals for other systems....

Return to Terca Lumireis Bandai Namco has dropped a new trailer for their upcoming re-release of the 2008 anime RPGTales of Vesperia.This new promo clip for theDefinitive Editionfocuses on the systems that are used in battle, as well as stat and gear management. Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Editionwill not only feature freshly up-scaled visuals, but will include costumes and other DLC previously unavailable outside of Japan. Also joining in the fun are two new playable party members: friendly rival Flynn Scifo and swashbuckling young pirate Patty Fleur....

Yeah, so this is a trailer showing off the ridiculous visuals Crytek’s conjuring for all you graphics whores out there. While I’m always agameplay-over-visuals guy, I do have to say … it is impressive stuff. Jury votes unanimously in favor of plaintiff Last week, we reported on how Valve was facing a lawsuit over the design of its Steam Controller hardware, with manufacturer Ironburg Inventions, (acting on behalf of subsidiary SCUF Gaming), alleging that the discontinued gamepad infringed upon its patents. Yesterday, a jury votedunanimously in favorof Ironburg. The patent in question concerned the implementation of rear triggers – located on the underside of the Steam Controller and operated by the player’s middle fingers....
