Xbox One launch on track for 2018 Stunlock Studios has found plenty of success on Steam Early Access with its arena brawlerBattlerite, and before long, it’ll be time for the full launch. It’s set for July 12, 2025. In this specific case, exiting Early Access will also mean transitioning from a paid game to a free-to-play release. Why buy now if it’ll just be free later? “By purchasing Early Access, you are granted instant-access to the game, all champions, and all future champions as well as a unique founder avatar and title,” according toBattlerite‘s Steam Early Access page....

Back from The Beyond Techland has released a brief trailer teasing new DLC for zombie-smasherDying Light. The new content, which will arrive this summer, seems to referenceHellraid, a first-person Techland title that never saw the light of day, ultimatelybeing abandoned mid-development. While the teaser doesn’t show much in the way of gameplay, the accompanying blurb suggests that a possessed arcade machine will be bringing the underworld toDying Light, offering a brand new dungeon, filled with brand new enemies, waiting for a howdy from your brand new weaponry....

As a fun little feature, the helpful constellation robot Vasco inStarfieldcan actually pronounce some names. Instead of just calling you Captain, Vasco will call you Captain . However, it’s a specific list of names that the robot can actually say. Oddly, there are some pretty common names missing from the list, but also includes some pretty unique ones. You know, like Boobies and Yeasting. If you want to have Vasco say your name, but it’s not on this list and you don’t want to create a character, you are in luck....

Take the Trip Indie developer Nomada Studios has proudly announced that its esoteric adventure titleGrishas sold one million copies since launch. The studio made the announcement on Twitter with a delightful image featuring the protagonist and her rock-headed pal. Released in December 2018,Gris is an evocative and surreal puzzle adventure overflowing with luscious imagery, beautiful sounds, and deep metaphor. After the title’s initial success on PC and Nintendo Switch,Griswas later ported to PlayStation 4 andmobile platforms, where it would win ourMobile Game of the Yearaward for 2019....

Nothing you can’t live without Ever since Sony confirmed that the PlayStation 5 would be backward compatible with PS4 games, there has been acloud of confusionhanging over its functionality.
