I don’t know how to tell you this, but PureArts and Capcomhave announceda three-foot tall bust of Nemesis from theResident Evil 3remake. You can pre-order it today. It’s only being produced in limited quantities, but, uh, I’m not sure what the market is like on this sort of thing. Maybe you don’t have my problem. I have too much video game paraphernalia. When I was younger, video game-related merch wasn’t nearly as common, but now it’s everywhere for everything....

Blackula’s absence confirmed Word fromRenegade Kid(Mutant Mudds, Treasurenauts, Moon, Dementium) is that they’ll be launching a new Kickstarter on April 2nd. They’re keeping the specifics under wraps, but I did get a hint that there may be first person perspectives and/or horror involved. With so many games already in the works, I’m guessing this will be a return to a prior franchise or the re-imagining of a previously announced project. Today, there’s an update that introduces track skins — a little quality of life thing that switches up the visuals while you stare at the continuous onslaught of notes. Previously,Rock Band 4had a black(ish) note highway with some light design work. Now, players will be able to pick from a bunch of different options to semi-customize the look of their track....

Sony released its financial report yesterday, and things could be better for the PlayStation brand owner. Sales in its game business have fallen 14.5% since last year, with the company losing3.5 billion yen as opposed to making a profit of4.1 billion in 2011. As Sonyis often wont to do, it has obscured sales of its latest gadget, refusing to tell anybody how well the PlayStation Vita performed worldwide. This hush-hush policy has not been taken as a good sign, especially when added to the fact that Sony’s combined Vita and PSP sales were lower this year than the PSP’s solo sales figures last year....
