These two developers evolved and mastered the genre through dedication to polish, character design, and great controls. PuLiRuLahas none of these things, yet it’s still a game worth highlighting due to its gaudy, psychedelic visuals that still look gorgeous to this day....

Starr Mazer Starr Mazeris a mix of point-and-click adventure game and side-scrolling space shooter, “featuring dynamic story module system for massive replayability, a deep voice-acted story, and beautiful pixel art.” It took a few reads to understand this is a “deep, voice-acted story” and not a story voiced by Keith David. It looks pretty sweet, though I’m more into the point-and-click half. The PC/Mac/Linux game is going up on Kickstarter in a couple of days....

The PlayStation Vita version launches in August for $19.99, going under the name ofMinecraft: PlayStation 3 + Vita Edition. There’s cross-save too, and all of the DLC that’s been purchased on the PS3 version will work with the Vita version. Uncle Scrooge, Magica De Spell, and Launchpad Speaking to Capcom producer Rey Jimenez, he confirmed that major players from theDuckTalescartoon would be returning to fully voice their roles inDuckTales: Remastered. Specifically, Alan Young as Scrooge McDuck, Terry McGovern as Launchpad McQuack, and June Foray as the evil Magica De Spell. Jimenez also confirmed that the rest of the cast (like Huey, Dewey, and Louie) would be provided by Disney as “authorized” voices....
