Star Wars: The Old Republic set to hit in Spring 2011?

It’s quite possible that we could see the release ofStar Wars: The Old Republicasearlyas Spring 2011. During a recent EA fiscal conference call, EA CEO Jon Riccitiello said that an unspecified “major” EA MMO is “making great progress towards a Spring 2011 launch.” We’re assuming Riccitiello is talking about BioWare’sStar Wars: The Old Republicinstead of an unannounced MMO worthy of “major” status. The publisher’s other notable upcoming MMO is the Realtime Worlds’sAll Points Bulletin, which is still slated to hit during March of this year....

Telltale’s Game of Thrones Episode Five: A Nest of Vipers trailer ramps up

The calm before the storm (of swords) From that trailer,A Nest of Vipersseems like a perfect title for this episode. The question is: which character is in the nest? Asher finds himself in a pit fight (presumably to the death), Gared is north of The Wall in Wildling territory, Mira has a private audience with Cersei and is tasked with manipulating Tyrion, and Rodrik is in the company of the sadistic Ramsay Bolton....

This Pokemon Generations short is a must-watch for fans

Pikachu vs. the world The newPokémon Generationsshorts are, well, exactly that, but they’re a nostalgic delight. Particularly this first episode, “The Adventure,” which has a cool transition from theRedandBlueopening on Game Boy into a battle into the animation proper.I had to rewind and watch that part a few times. What follows is a sequence of standalone scenes inspired by the games. Again, if you’ve experienced these moments for yourself, seeing them reinterpreted in an animation like this is pretty darn cool....

Makes sense Well, there’s that. Much likethe fabledStar Warsfangame, another one bites the dust. While most unofficial projects are usually worked on in secret and then torrented into the world (even if only in demo form), some go public immediately, and are shot down in turn. This one involves a sequel toLife is Strange, but the project creator wanted to either fund said sequel or “buy the rights” for $20,000....
