OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast is an unexpectedly faithful sequel

Get ready If someone told me they were creating a newOutRunwith 3D graphics, I’d be extremely skeptical.OutRunwas not merely a raster racer through and through, it’s the God-empress of raster racers. I would think that adding some depth to that would hurt the appeal. Not so, becauseOutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coastis about as faithful as I could imagine. To be clear,OutRun 2006is sort of the sequel to the sequel.OutRun 2was released in arcades in 2003, and followed up with a port to Xbox in 2004....

I’m alive! This is all a miracle! I’m awake, I’m wiiiide awake! Dragon Ball FighterZhas undoubtedly been one of the most anticipated fighting game releases of 2018. The hype was strong for this as fans of theDragon Ballfranchise had been dreaming of a game that could match the anime series for quite some time. Review: Retro Freak Premium game console

Getcha freak on The SNES Classic pre-orders have come and gone and the dregs left behind without one will be forced to scramble wildly, clawing desperately at one another like a depiction of hell in a Hieronymus Bosch painting for the scraps. I don’t want to make any wild predictions, but shit’s gonna be hard to get, and just like last year with the NES Classic, renewed nostalgia is going to introduce a whole new wave of people to retro game collecting (not to mention put more money into the pockets of Raspberry Pi manufacturers....

Review: Wikipad 7-Inch Gaming Tablet

Terrible name, neat device I’m constantly reminded that we’re in a rather strange era of gaming. While past generations have decidedly kept console and portable gaming completely separate, the two experiences are converging more and more with the rise of Apple and Android devices. What were once privileged devices have become a lot cheaper, and they’re starting to dip into Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo’s profits as the mobile arena is poised to slowly start chipping away at the industry proper....

Remember: Hold X to open door When you have a franchise that makes nearly a billion dollars per entry, you certainly don’t stop the money train.Modern Warfare 4is currently in production, according toSiliconera, and it will continue the previous entries’ story. This sequel will focus on “a battle hardened veteran in his mid-thirties with a nihilistic point of view.” Way to connect with your audience, Activision! Siliconera managed to squeeze some script lines out of its anonymous source, but it’s all military jargon that doesn’t shed much light on narrative....
