AYE CHICKEN CHASER Eurogamer is reportingthatFableis going to make a comeback in the form of a “brand new, big budget game.” According to their sources, Playground, the developer ofForza Horizon, is going to handle the project, which will be an open world action RPG. Just how big of a budget will it garner? Well, Eurogamer’s sources estimate “some 200 people” working on it across two of Playground’s offices. This concept is in its “early days” though, so don’t expect an E3 announcement this year or anything....

The expansion’s final boss has given everyone a hard time, but streamer MissMikkaa has discovered a glitch that makes the fight look a little more challenging and a little bit ridiculous. Bandai has announced plans to resurrectTamagotchion iOS and Android devices. While the handheld digital pet never truly went away, its star certainly has faded since the late nineties. Perhaps the popular egg-shaped toy has been out of the public consciousness just long enough now for people to start feeling nostalgic about cleaning up virtual poop. Tamagotchi L.i.f.e.is said to feature a range of mini-games in addition to a retro mode reminiscent of the original toys....

Justlike withBattlefield 3, theModern Warfare 3launch trailer has arrived. While many of you are going to argue over which game is better, I’m just going to sit back and smile. Why? Because I’m going to be playing the hell out of both the major first-person shooters and enjoy every second of them. As for this trailer, we get to see a lot more locations in the single-player campaign we’ll be going to as we hunt down Makarov....

A few aren’t great, a lot of them are I was thinking of writing something about the general success of the Switch eShop and how it’s persuaded more developers than the Wii U did even this early on, but this seems like as good a time as any. A friend directed my attention to the eShop last night, noting that there were nearly 100 games on it — whenSonic Maniahits, it’ll break that barrier....

Hollywood has oftentimes tried to capture the magic of video games on film, and the most fun audiences have ever gotten out of it was seeing it fail stupendously pretty much every time. Still, you cannot say the same about game-to-tv-show adaptations, as those have already provided us with actual top-tier entertainment. Let’s take a look at the best of the bunch. 06. To cap it all off, it’s been revealed that the series has surpassed the five-million-copies-sold milestone. “This is great news, especially since the 2012 debuted console debut on the Xbox 360 contributed largely to this result, receiving great feedback from gamers and critics,” said CD PROJEKT SA CEO Adam Kiciński....

I’m not usually keen on posting novelty hardware, but I must admit, I have a deep weakness forDragon Quest‘s slimes. As a result, I found thisDragon Quest X-flavored keyboard from Hori too awesome to resist! There’s a lot of really cool nuances on this keyboard, like the slimey smiley face on the spacebar, the staircase escape key, theDQroman numeral keypad, and a ton of other unique icons. If the F1-12 slime caps look like they’d annoy the hell out of you, just know that you’re able to remove them....

Now it’s clicking for me Okay,Torchlight Frontierslooks really good. While talk of a shared, persistent world had me slightly interested in the 2019 action-RPG title, the recentannouncement trailerdid absolutely nothing for me. This latest footage makes a much better case forFrontiers. It’s a no-nonsense look at gameplay. There’s a lot to speculate on since the footage isn’t annotated, but right now, I’m fixated on a character who can seemingly lay down tracks for their turret train....

Gosh, this keeps looking better Predictably, Nintendo used this afternoon’s Direct as another opportunity to push a little moreSuper Mario Odysseyon us. That’s perfectly fine!We’ll take every look we can get. One of the bullet points in theOdysseypresentation (the whole thing’s embedded above), was the reveal of two new worlds. They are Bubblaine in the Seaside Kingdom and Shiveria in the Snow Kingdom.
