Surely I can’t be the only one? There’s definitely worse box art out there. Some really good hidden gems in this month’s batch Today, Microsoft outlined a bunch of games headed to its Xbox Game Pass service as October comes to a close. And while we already knew about a few, there are some really interesting gems hidden among the bunch that seem very worth your time. Xbox had already either announced a few, like the PC version ofOutridersandAge of Empires IV.The star of the lineup though, in my eyes, isThe Forgotten City....

It’s actually really simple, you just need a proper graphics card So theMinecraftRTX NVIDIA and Mojang/Microsoft project is now in beta, which brings ray tracing into the fold. In case you missed it, Microsoft canceled the high-quality texture pack forMinecraftfor technical reasons, which was set to bringMinecraftinto a new generation of visuals, giving it a complete overhaul. As a concession, we’re getting RTX ray tracing, so long as you have the proper RTX graphics card to actually handle it....

Jackbox Party Pack 8 fully confirmed Jackbox! Oh how I want things to eventually settle down so people can safely play it in a giant room together, laughing and pointing fingers all the way. Alas, it’ll be a while before that happens, but Jackbox Games is forging ahead with a new iteration anyway. It’s called, expectedly,The Jackbox Party Pack 8, and it’s no longer just a tease; it’s a fully fledged revealed entry....

Vyse isValorant‘s newest Agent to join the roster, and she will arrive withEpisode 9 Act 2. She has a unique ability to disable enemies’ primary weapons for a brief period, which can do some serious damage. Vyse is a Sentinel, the sixth one in the game after Cypher, Sage, Killjoy, Chamber, and Deadlock. Her Agent description says: “Metallic mastermind Vyse unleashes liquid metal to isolate, trap, and disarm her enemies.”...

New animations revealed each week WhileSpyParty’snew character models andenvironmentsaren’t ready to be pushed into the open beta quite yet, Chris Hecker, creator of the game, is giving us weeklysneak–peeksat the new models in action. While these videos might not seem like much, when the models and animations are compared to the current ones, everything is put into perspective. This title’s trailers dive right into beachside parties, nightlife, and intimate interactions between its two protagonists, all while revealing exactly where the game takes place. Playing as a tentacled alien creature, you’ll snatch people up, tear them apart, and just generally make a huge mess of things....
