Final Fantasy XIV patch 4.45 brings the unhinged Hildibrand back into the fray

Also Pyros Final Fantasy XIVhas been trucking along since 2013 (technically 2010 but we don’t speak of that original version) and Square Enix seems to be pretty happy with it. Producer Naoki Yoshida (Yoshi-P) and his team have been dropping major patches alongside massive expansions and outside of the occasional dry spells, the player base is still present. Patch 4.45 isn’t one of those aforementioned giant content updates but it does bring in some significant changes, like the addition of Pyros (the follow-up for Eureka and Pagos) as well as more Hildibrand quests....

Friday Night Fights: Sinclair Solutions edition

The mere fact thatBioShock 2‘s multiplayer is decent and feels somewhat justified makes it a huge success in my book. I was skeptical up until the minute I started playing. I strolled around my apartment, learnedwhyI was expected to kill people, and jumped in my bathysphere. An interactive intro to multiplayer? What a novel idea. It wasn’t until I started taking pictures of dead people to gain attack bonuses and turned into a Big Daddy before I realized how potentially fun this thing could be....

How to identify Freezing Temps in Phasmophobia with the Thermometer

The team behindPhasmophobiahas put a lot of effort into creating a more grounded ghost hunting experience. I, for one, applaud the developer’s efforts to realistically depict someone who can barely run for three seconds (I am so out of shape, I’m non-euclidean). What else makes it such an intriguing horror game is the pretty accurate array of tools to help you identify spectral beings. One of those is a good old-fashioned thermometer, as somePhasghosties turn their room into popsicles with freezing temps....
