Arc System Works has announced thatGrand Piratewill be getting a cross-versus update along withDragon Ball Z: Extreme Butodento allow for cross-game play in “early November.” Yep, you’ll be able to play both locally and online, and have Luffy and Goku (and crew) brawl it out just like they did inJ-Stars Victory Vs.
It’s a sneaky way to add more value toButoden3DS that’s for sure, but it’s a gimmick I can get on board with. I just wish that I could play locally with my US copy ofButodenif I happened to importGrand Pirateon my Japanese 3DS. Maybe the western version of the former will get a “one-way street” update? Not likely, but I can dream.
