More like Ninja Gaiden ZzzZzZZZzzzzZzzzzz
Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Zisn’t even out yet, but Team Ninja head Yosuke Hayashi let it slip, in a talk with Keiji Inafune, translated bySiliconera, that the company will come out with a new, more traditional and fan-friendly entry in the series.
“Team Ninja is thinking of the nextNinja Gaiden,” Hayashi explained. “For example, if the games were food, theNinja Gaidenseries would be a rich meaty entree andYaiba: Ninja Gaiden Zwould be dessert. Every course of the meal would be in the sameNinja Gaidenworld, but gamers will experience different kinds of play. That’s howYaiba: Ninja Gaiden Zwill be different.”

Yaibacertainly looked appetizing when the first screenshots were loosed, like a more cleaned upKiller is Dead. Unfortunately, every single thing else about the game that’s been shown off has beenembarrassingly bad. Even if it plays well, I don’t know if I could stomach that sleazy cheeseball performance.
