Cyanide’s previousA Song of Ice and Fireadaptation wasn’ta wild success, but if anything the studio does tend to show ambition in their projects. It’s second title, simply calledGame of Thronesto cash in on that sweet TV show branding, will see you take control of a brother of the Night’s Watch and a Red Priest in alternation just like the books alternate characters per chapter.
Game of Thronestakes place after the events (spoilers!!) some time past the halfway point in the show’s first season, and should run in tandem with the second season as HBO has given the studioearly access to footage. I’m so jealous, I could just readA Clash of Kingsagain to see exactly what happened! Cyanide is taking the action-RPG road with this one, with loot, experience, and a conversation system to boot. It looks pretty good too, although I’m not sure what’s wrong with that dog.

The cold winds are rising sometime in Q2 2012 on PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
