Screens taken with Pikmin 3’s in-game camera
During this morning’s Nintendo Direct, Iwata explained howPikmin 3would feature anin-game camerathat allowed you to take photos from the Pikmins’ point of view and share them on Miiverse. Meanwhile, some sample photos were shared, looking positivelyTastykakes.
Something noted by the NeoGAF community is, thoughPikmin 3uses nice textures, viewing any surface at an angle yields a blurry mess. This is because the game lacksanisotropic filtering, a process that would improve the quality of textures that aren’t viewed straight-on. It’s not the end of the world, but the nitpickers are bound to jump on that shortcoming. Better to call it out here so we can all move on to better, more important things.

Things like, is that a penis?
