Square Enix has announced another new entry to its vastKingdom Heartsseries, one that will be winging its way to mobile devices in just a few months.Project Xenahort– named after the series’ notorious antagonist – will take a closer look at the making of a monster.
It is hinted that players will get to discover the roots of the fallen Keyblade Master’s wicked ways, learning what turned a once-carefree Destiny Island denizen into a cruel and manipulative man, desperately chasing the Darkness in a bid to become all-powerful. It should also be noted that“Project Xenahort” is apparently a placeholder name, as Square Enix is holding a“Guess the Name”contest on social media.

There are, as of yet, no details pertaining to gameplay, delivery method, or even a teaser trailer, but we do know thatProject Xenahortlaunches this spring on iOS and Android devices, so we can expect to hear finer details on this pocket-sized project soon. Interested parties should keep an eye on the newProject Xenahortwebsite.
In the meantime,Kingdom Hearts IIIis available now on PS4 and Xbox One. The eagerly-anticipated ReMIND DLC arrives on PS4 today, with Xbox One to follow February 24.
