F1 25is going to be releasedon May 30, but it’s not coming to day one on EA Play.
While new titles are often added on day one to gaming services like the Xbox Game Pass, there’s no such luck for EA Play members. However, your ongoing membership will have some advantages in case you choose to purchase either the Standard or the Iconic Edition.
If you want to enjoy the game on day one, the only option is tobuy the game directlyfor your platform.
Will F1 25 come to EA Play?
At a certain point, I expectF1 25to be added to EA Play. This has happened with all previous F1 titles in recent years when EA Sports added them to their subscription program a few months after their respective launches. An exact time is always hard to estimate, as it entirely depends on EA’s plans and financial numbers.
If I have to predict a timeline,F1 25should get added to EA Play towards theending months of 2025. Typically, the previous games have been added after six months (following their launches), and this seems to be the usual norm for EA Sports. Once it gets added to EA Play, the game will be available to all Xbox Game Pass members as well (assuming the existing structure will remain the same).
F1 25 EA Play membership benefits explained
F1 25might not be a day-one addition to EA Play, but your existing membership will have certain benefits. You’ll get a 10% discount for starters, and this applies to both the Standard and Iconic Editions. If you’re unsure about purchasing the game, your EA Play membership entitles you to a time-limited trial to test out all the available game modes.
You can play up to five hours and convert to a full purchase to carry over all the in-game progression. The trial kicks offon May 27, and you get the same benefits as Iconic Edition owners.
There’s one exclusive benefit available to those on PC, as the enhanced EA Play Pro version will include the Iconic Edition on its roster from the first day. However, the price of the Pro membership is significantly more than the base version, and it’s unavailable for console users.
