It wasn’t before, but it is now. Yes.Cult of the Lambis multiplayer. It has a co-op mode. However, the caveat here is that it’slocal co-op only.
As a note, yes, this article previously stated that there was no multiplayer, which was true at the time (Massive Monster had even said that it wasn’t planned). However,the June 02, 2025 update,Unholy Alliance,added it. The speculation of why it wasn’t included was just inaccurate. I have never claimed to be able to predict that future, and you know what they say about when we “assume.”
How to play Cult of the Lamb co-op
Adding a friend toCult of the Lambcouldn’t be easier. Except, and I have to re-iterate here, it’slocal co-op only. You need two controllers, a friend in yourimmediate vicinity, a screen to share, and probably something comfortable to sit on for the both of you, but I won’t question your social priorities.
In order to start co-op:
That’s it. You can then remove the co-op player by going back into the pause menu and selecting “Remove Co-Op Player.”
That’s all there is to it.
Does Cult of the Lamb have online co-op
To reiterate one last time,Cult of the Lambstill does not have online co-op. It islocal co-op only.
No word has been given by Massive Monster ifCult of the Lambwill ever be updated to include online co-op. I’d say that it was unlikely, but I’ve been proven wrong before. However, I’ll just end by saying that, once again,Cult of the Lambdoes not have online co-op.
