Just before the blackout, we learned that the last remains of Hudson are to beabsorbed by Konamion March 1. While nothing has changed in that regard, Hudson saw fit to issue astatementclarifying a couple of points, namely that theHudson homepagewill remain open and that Hudson-brand properties will continue to exist.
You will have to excuse me if that doesn’t quite fill me with confidence. Hudson was still somewhat alive when a bunch of its upcoming projects were cancelled. I can see perhaps a tokenBombermanrelease for iOS, and I’m sure Konami wants to get those TurboGrafx-16 games out on the 3DS Virtual Console as soon as possible, but beyond that? I’m skeptical.
