The Bozjan Southern Front was introduced toFinal Fantasy XIVback in October 2020 with Patch 5.35. Since then, it and its follow up instance, Zadnor, have become a favorite, quick way to speed level alternative Jobs after level 71. Additionally, you’ll need to enter the zone for any Resistance weapons you’re hunting.
To unlock The Bozjan Southern Front, you’ll need to find your way to Gangos. Once there, you’re only a couple of steps away from diving into the huge 72-player instance, but getting there involves completing a long list of prerequisite quests. So, let’s start there.

Note:From this point forward, I will refer to The Bozjan Southern Front as ‘Bozja’ for the most part, as it is commonly referred to as this within theFFXIVcommunity.
How to get to Gangos inFinal Fantasy XIV
To begin the first step on your Bozja journey, complete the level 70 main scenario questStormblood. Next, head to Kugane and locateKeiten (X:12.2, Y:12.3), picking up the questDramatis Personae, which will take you on an entirely separate journey through theIvalicestoryline.
You’ll need to complete all quests in this storyline up to and includingThe City of Lost Angelsbefore you can move on to Gangos and then Bozja shortly after. Each quest is level 70, and the full list of Ivalice quests required is as follows:

Once you’ve completed the three Ivalice Alliance Raids, return to Kugane and find Keiten again. He should have the questHail to the Queen. After completing this one, talk to Marsak inYanxia (X:16.3, Y:8.5)to pick up the quest that actually unlocks Gangos,Path to the Past.
After visiting Gangos for the first time, it will be added as a destination via the Doman Enclave Aetheryte. Otherwise, you may reach Gangos by talking to the Airship Pilot in theDoman Enclave (X:9.1, Y:8.7).

How to unlock Bozja inFFXIV
You must be level 80 to continue, so you’ll have a bit of a level grind to complete if you aren’t there. Additionally, complete the level 80 post-Shadowbringers main scenario quest,Vows of Virtue, Deeds of Cruelty. Finally, visit Rhalgr’s Reach and speak to theIronworks Engineer (X:11.8, Y:11.8)for TheBozja Incidentquest.
Completing this quest takes you to Gangos, with two more quests to finish:

The unlock quest is calledWhere Eagles Nest, available fromMarsak in Gangos (X:6.4, Y:5.7). After completing it, you’ll have access to The Bozjan Southern Front, where the Save the Queen: Blades of Gunnhildr storyline awaits.
To get into Bozja, talk to Sjeros (X:5.5, Y:5.4) in Gangos. If you’re entering as an already formed party, only the party leader can select to enter on behalf of the party.

How to unlock Zadnor inFFXIV
By progressing through the Resistance Weapon quests, you’ll also eventually gain access to Zadnor, which not only offers more challenging fights but also offers a huge increase in EXP. This is what makes these two large-scale instances so amazing for leveling alt Jobs.
You’ve also already completed the first six quests of the Resistance Weapon questline to unlock Bozja, so you’re part of the way there. This collection of fancy, glowing weapons are theShadowbringersRelic Weaponseries — they’re no longer good for current content, but they’re pretty for the glamour.

You won’t have to complete all of Resistance Weapon quests before you unlock Zadnor, but you will have to complete the questline up to and includingA New Playing Field. Here’s every quest until that point:
