One of the most important additions toDisney Dreamlight Valley’sDapper Delights update is Princess Tiana and her realm. However, while most characters require unlocking a realm, Tiana’s introduction is a little different and full of culinary fun.
How to start Princess Tiana’s quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You’ll first encounter Princess Tiana’s quest line by opening your mailbox and reading the Culinary Development letter. The letter will reveal that Remy found a lost cookbook in the Glade of Trust. Exploring the Glade of Trust and picking up the mysterious Cajun recipe cookbook initiates the A Taste for Literature mission, requiring you to pay a quick visit to Remy.
If you don’t see this letter immediately, make sure you meet the following requirements:
Once you reach these requirements, the letter will be in your mailbox. If you completed these a while ago, your mailbox will be updated immediately.
How to make the Cajun dish
After telling Remy about the cookbook, a memory reveals that a mysterious villager created a Cajun dish for Mickey, Merlin, and Moana. Talk to these three villagers to learn the following ingredients for the dish:
Don’t worry; Merlin will give you the pepper. Once you have all five items, toss them into your cooking pot to create Enchanted Shrimp Etouffee.
If your game crashes while interacting with the memory, restart your game and re-enter Chez Remy. The memory should still be there, ready for you to see again. In most cases, one restart works, but you may have to wait for the memory’s animation to fully complete before interacting with it.
Unlocking Princess Tiana
After creating the Enchanted Shrimp Etouffee, you’ll celebrate by sharing it with Remy, Moana, Mickey, and Merlin. Each one will reveal details about Princess Tiana, from her enjoying jazz music to being trapped inside the cookbook. Once you talk to the fourth and final villager, Tiana will automatically appear at the Plaza’s Wishing Well.
After a brief conversation with Tiana, you’ll place down her house, pay Scrooge McDuck’s fee, and officially unlock Princess Tiana inDisney Dreamlight Valley.
