As you navigate the menus inMarvel Rivals, you’ll quickly realize that there are three types of currencies: Units, Lattice, and Chrono Tokens. These will all be important if you’re looking to unlock skins and other cosmetics in the game.

Here, we’ll break down what each currency does and how you can get more of them.

How to get Units in Marvel Rivals

Units are the blue currency that is earned in-game. Think of it as the free currency earned through completing Missions or progressing in the Battle Pass.

Missions are the equivalent of challenges in this game. Read what you need to do. For example, you may need to defeat five enemies using Storm or Captain America with Thorforce’s electrifying enhancement to get 60 Units. This is a Season 0 Mission, but it can be done for now.

How to get Lattice in Marvel Rivals

Lattice is the premium currency ofMarvel Rivals. It is mostly earned by buying it with actual money from your platform’s storefront.

The standard conversion rate of Lattice to money is roughly around 100 to $1 USD. Of course, as you buy the more expensive bundles, you’ll earn a bit more once you get to the third bundle.

You can also earn Lattice periodically from completing the free route of the Battle Pass, but you’ll be limited to how much you can earn. Most Lattice rewards from the Pass are behind the Luxury version.

How to get Chrono Tokens in Marvel Rivals

Chrono Tokens are earned by completing Missions and Events tied to the Battle Pass. They are the purple currency that is needed to buy reward tiers from it.

In the same vein as earning Units, Lattice will be the same. The only difference is that Units are used as a currency to buy skins in the Store, while Chrono Tokens are specifically for the current Battle Pass.
