It’s right in front of you
Destiny 2: Lightfallis out now, but Guardians have been stumbling across some obstacles in their quest to complete all of the post-campaign missions. One such mission requires Guardians to bond withStrandsources whilst slaying enemies, but how do you bond with Strand sources after the campaign? It’s annoyingly down to some simple luck at times. The new Darkness subclass, Strand, is dotted around Neomuna but only appears for a limited amount of time before it disappears and spawns somewhere else. When you’re lucky enough to come across it though, it’s very simple.
Bonding with Strand sources
It’s as straightforward as identifying and interacting with the Strand sources on the map. As you’re traveling around Neomuna keep an eye out for a green helix-shaped aura that is glowing. These Strand sources temporarily allow you to wield Strand. If your subclass is already Strand they will grant increased regeneration of all abilities and your Super, so they’re worth interacting with either way.
Walk up to the Strand source and a prompt will read “Look Within”. Interact with it to bond with the Strand source. You’ll then have the ability to use Strand for a limited time, and there will be a counter on the left side of the screen where buffs and debuffs usually appear with a countdown timer telling you how long you have left. If you’ve not yet beaten theLightfallcampaign this is a great way to get to grips with the new subclass.
After the timer is up you’ll return to the subclass you were using before bonding with the Strand sources.
