It’s been an unusually long time since I’ve been able to use the word “reboot” here, but with the recentHitman Absolutionstill fresh on our minds, it’s only natural that the term would come up in relation to the popular stealth series. Fox International Productions will be rebooting 2007’sHitmanfilm with Paul Walker as Agent 47, reportsDeadline.
I’m just going to let that sink in for a moment. As much as I likeThe Fast and the Furiousfor reasons beyond logical explanation, I can’t picture him with a fully shaved head. That’s not to say it can’t work — I’m just lacking the requisite imagination.
This new movie, titledAgent 47, will be directed by feature-film newcomer Aleksander Bach. For those who saw the original, did you enjoy it? From what I recall, it was entirely watchable, but it must have not been particularly memorable because I’m struggling to recall anything of substance.
